Children's Activities Representative
As an Activities Representative, you will work with children, ages 4-10, in the Osthoff Kids Club program, which offers kids a chance to enjoy the surroundings and traditions of a Wisconsin Resort. Responsibilities include: leading children in arts and crafts projects, tye-dying t-shirts, decorating cupcakes, facilitating movie nights, taking them on scavenger hunts, picnics in the park, fishing on the Elkhart Lake dock and more!

Concierge
Skills & Requirements:
- Must have an exceptional eye for detail and desire to go above and beyond for our guests and team and love to smile
- Must have the ability to make things happen by providing the ultimate Spa Experience from the moment you greet the guests, assist with lockers, show guests all amenities and all that allows for a seamless experience
- Must have excellent communication ability to be able to hear and understand guests and teams needs

Line Cook
Our Line Cooks are responsible for setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing workstations, preparing food items based on recipes, portion controls, and standard presentations; restocking food items as needed throughout the shifts, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume service hours. Qualified candidates must have two years of prior line experience working in a fine dining establishment.
A culinary degree and ServSafe certification are preferred, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. Successful candidates should have experience setting up cooking lines, stocking, and organizing workstations, as well as a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
Dishwasher/Steward
The Osthoff Resort is hiring to fill the position of Steward/Dishwasher. Our Stewards are responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of all dishes, pans, utensils, etc., as well as the entire work area according to resort, local, and state standards during high-volume service hours. Stewards also assist the culinary staff with prep work and plating on occasion.
A Candidate for this position must be able to:
- Lift/carry and push/pull up to 40 pounds
- Be on his/her feet for up to 8 hours each day
- Bend, walk, reach, and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties

- Work well in a team environment, as well as independently within a fast-paced environment.

Server / Bartender
Duties and Responsibilities.
- Promptly greet guests
- Promote the Osthoff Resorts service principle by example; respond to/resolve Guest inquiries, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient manner. Make sure to inform Restaurant Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader of problems.
- Complete Steps of Service for Servers
- Maintains service presentation, sanitation, and organization of work area
- Set tables according to standards, during, and after service; remove trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to kitchen for cleaning when needed.
- Staying updated on current menu choices, features and menu deviations, 86’ed items.
- Properly preform wine service.
- Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
- Assist in the checklists at the beginning/end of each shift with the team
- Including polishing, cleaning, prepping
- Restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies.
- Complete proper end of day reports

Front Desk
Duties and Responsibilities
The Front Desk Associate will attend to guest needs whether on the phone or in person while greeting and welcoming guests as they pass through the lobby.
- Will provide prompt friendly and courteous service in all aspects of the job.
- Will be on stage when we are at the front desk or visible to our guest and will act accordingly.
- Will respond to guest’s inquiries, concerns or complaints in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.

Bell Attendant
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet all guests in the lobby in a warm and professional manner.
- Escort all guests checking in to their accommodations following hotel procedure. Inform them about all hotel and guest room features, hotel facilities, and emergency procedures
- Assist guests with their luggage and acknowledge them by name
- Make deliveries to guest rooms as instructed
- Store and retrieve luggage and other objects for guests
- Assist the Front Desk with adhering to AAA 4 Diamonds Resort Standards of excellence.

Lead Landscape Technician
The Lead Landscape Technician will supervise all activities of the Grounds Crew and efficiently direct and implement both daily and project-based duties within the department and around the resort related to the grounds and garden areas. Assist in long term strategies for effective horticulture maintenance, as well as execute strategic plans and daily tasks in a manner that supports the AAA Four Diamond brand expectation.
The Grounds Supervisor is responsible for the coordinating and completion of daily landscape maintenance and property activities throughout the Resort.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform and coordinate Grounds Crew of daily general landscape maintenance and project based of the resorts grounds and gardens including but not limited to mowing, planting, watering, pruning, weeding, mulching, pesticide applications, turf irrigation, holiday lighting and décor installation, hardscape installations, removal of trash, and snow removal
- Perform all assigned tasks in safe manner
- Operation of light to heavy equipment
- Ability to perform or diagnose repair on equipment
- Monitor and control budgets of department
- Monitor and coordinate snow removal procedures
- Purchasing of landscape and equipment supplies to perform job functions

Maintenance Technician I – 2nd Shift and Weekends
Job Purpose
The Osthoff Resort is seeking a full-time, experienced Maintenance Technician I to join our Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintenance of guest rooms and building areas, painting, and repair of the equipment used in daily operations of the Resort.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Building maintenance in units and common areas of the resort
- Responsible for swimming pool and Spa maintenance
- Responsible for swimming pool and Spa chemical testing and monitoring per state mandated guidelines
- Perform PM maintenance on equipment as needed
- Perform daily water system testing and monitoring
- Assist grounds crew when needed
- Perform carpet cleaning and carpet equipment maintenance
- Perform Fire system inspection and testing as needed
- HVAC system maintenance and monitoring using Honeywell programing
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical as needed adhering to regulations and guidelines
- Document work completion and parts used in work management system
- Using the computer system to verify room occupancy prior to performing maintenance work
- Report the need for spare parts or attic stock inventory
- All other duties as assigned by department Director and/or Executive Team members

Landscape Laborer - Seasonal
Landscape laborer is responsible for assisting Grounds Manager, Director of Maintenance/Grounds and applicable organizational staff related to maintaining the property grounds, beautification of property initiatives, and events to achieve organizational objectives.
Associate must have a broad knowledge of grounds, turf, and plant care with landscape experience or related education.

Housekeeper
Job purpose is to clean guest rooms. Room attendants provide stayover service to in house guests and provide checkout service for incoming guests. Room attendants also clean up behind house areas they worked in during the day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide stayover service based on what type each guest is assigned
- Per the Housekeeping Training manual; provide checkout service; cleaning the room to ready it for the next guest
- Note anything broken or missing from the unit
- Note anything not able to clean with the products they have available
- Secure lost and found items left by the guest
- Deep clean guest rooms
- Report any equipment not working
- Clean up your cart and closet at the end of your shift
- Returning all items to their proper places
- Assisting coworkers as needed

Job purpose is
To launder all linens used in the Resort.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Launder linens from the Rooms Division, Food and Beverage and assist with Spa linens
- Sort and pre-spot linens
- Load/unload washers and dryers
- Iron flat lines
- Fold large terry pieces with the towel folder
- Hand fold items that are too large or too small for the automated equipment
- Daily cleanup of the Laundry operation
- Any other duties as directed by the Supervisor
Qualifications include:
- Some High School Education preferred
- Must be over 16 to operate the iron and the towel folder

Duties and Responsibilities
- Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answering radio calls
- Freshening public area bathrooms
- Tasks assigned to help wrap up the day

- Miscellaneous tasks in closet i.e. remaking rollaways, cleaning up, counting inventory, restocking supplies

Human Resource Coordinator
The Osthoff Resort, a AAA Four Diamond lakeside resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator. This position contributes to cultivating, demonstrating, and emphasizing the culture of our company and of our resort’s mission and vision.
The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for the following tasks:
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by tracking, reviewing, and sourcing candidates
- Schedule and conduct onboarding paperwork sessions with new hires
- Represent resort at job fairs and other community events
- Maintain personnel records and files—both in paper and database to ensure all employment requirements are met
- Assist with the coordination of HR Department Functions
- Respond to unemployment requests along with DOL and employment verifications, all while maintaining confidentiality
- Assist in the coordination, organization, monitoring and maintaining of Human Resources projects & processes
- Provide support and advice on employee relations issues and activities, recommending courses of action, conferring with the Human Resources Team on disciplinary courses of actions
- Support other HR department functions as assigned
A minimum of two years prior work experience in human resources, or a combination of HR related education and HR work experience is required. Previous experience in the hospitality or service related industry is preferred. A degree in Human Resources or relevant field is preferred. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and together works collaboratively to accomplish the goals of the department and of the overall organization.
Qualified candidates must have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, have a well rounded background in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a positive, outgoing personality. Past experience with HRIS platforms and recruitment are preferred.
