Aspira Spa

Massage Therapist
The Massage Therapist administers professional massage and body treatments to our guests. You must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa’s specific massage and body treatment offerings. You must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the products and services necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests. Must hold and maintain a current Wisconsin license.
Salary: $800 - $1,600 a week
Spa Concierge
The Concierge is responsible for orientating guests to the spa facilities, greeting guests as they enter the facilities, and providing personal guest service. They are responsible for keeping the lounge areas neat, clean, and stocked with all amenities.

Salary: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Spa Front Desk
The Spa Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for the reception area at the spa. Includes the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking the guest into the computer system, and charging for services performed.
Salary: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Licensed Nail Technician
The Nail Technician performs professional nail, hand, and foot treatments. They must possess a thorough knowledge of the nails, including a basic knowledge of hand and foot massage techniques and a neat application of polish. They must possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa’s specific nail service offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests.
Salary: Hourly plus commission based on experience, plus gratuities.

Food & Beverage
Restaurant Manager
Responsible for the operations of the Restaurant. This position encompasses food, beverage, and service management. This position will ensure efficiency in the operations of all areas as well as maintaining high standards in production, productivity, and customer service to the level of Triple AAA, 4 diamond requirements.

Working Conditions
Working conditions vary based on business needs. Work may entail both indoor and outdoor activities, nights, weekends, and holidays, as necessary. Environment can be fast paced, high energy, and Associate will need to be able to multi-task and prioritizes duties during service. Associate will also be expected to help other Osthoff Associates.

Assistant Restaurant Manager
Supervise and participate in all front of house duties as required for day to day operations of the restaurant. Train and enforce standards to front of house staff to provide superior guest service. Assist co-workers in offering the best experiences possible to restaurant guests, supporting the AAA Four Diamond brand expectation.

Banquet Prep Cook (AM and PM Shifts Available!)
Our Banquet Prep. Cooks are responsible for setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing workstations, preparing food items based on recipes, portion controls, and standard presentations; restocking food items as needed throughout the shifts, and maintaining a smooth flow of service for banquets.
A culinary degree and ServSafe certification are preferred, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. A positive attitude is a must.
Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50lbs. Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment. Successful candidates should have some experience setting up cooking lines, stocking, and organizing workstations. Willing to teach the right candidate.

Executive Chef
The Osthoff Resort, a Four Diamond AAA rated resort, located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our management team as our Executive Chef. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the culinary outlets of the resort and ensuring the quality and service is maintained throughout our six kitchens. The Executive Chef is responsible for maximizing the productivity of the kitchen and staff while elevating each culinary outlet, through development, mentoring and training.This position will work closely with each outlet Chef, overseeing labor costs, assisting with menu and recipe design, costing and kitchen sanitation. The Executive Chef reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director and interacts regularly focusing on creating and implementing operational opportunities and identifying and resolving operational challenges. The Executive Chef maintains a high level of standards in regards to service and food quality, embracing and executing farm to table concepts and striving for excellence in all the culinary outlets.To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a culinary degree with a minimum of seven years varied and progressive experience in all aspects of dining to include fine dining, banquet production, and casual dining. Experience in training, leading, and managing others is required, as is experience working in a multi-outlet property. Excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of the importance of exceptional customer service, both internally and externally are also required of applicants for this position.Our Executive Chef is a full time position, which includes eligibility for our complete benefit package, as well as resort-wide usage benefits.
Pastry Chef/Baker
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in pastry and baking in a restaurant setting
- Have basic knowledge of the fundamentals of cooking
- Have knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment, i.e., stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc.
- Be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort.
- Assist with all phases of inventory and understands par levels of daily foods prepared.
- Have knowledge of rotation of all foods prepared
- Ensure quality of desserts and bread items.
- Have sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use all kitchen equipment, i.e., knives, spoons, spatulas, tong, slicers, etc.

Line Cook
The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a Line Cook.
Our Line Cooks are responsible for setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing workstations, preparing food items based on recipes, portion controls, and standard presentations; restocking food items as needed throughout the shifts, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume service hours.
A culinary degree and ServSafe certification are preferred, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. Positive attitude is a must. Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 50lbs. Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment. Successful candidates should have some experience setting up cooking lines, stocking, and organizing workstations. Willing to teach the right candidate.

The Busser is responsible for maintaining the dining area, clearing and resetting tables and taking dishes to the kitchen area. The restaurant Busser stocks bus stations, cleans glassware, and refills drinks. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to stand and walk for a period of up to 8 hours, as well as the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
$8.00 - $10.00 per hour
Steward
Our Stewards are responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of all dishes, pans, utensils, etc., as well as the entire work area according to resort, local, and state standards during high-volume service hours. Stewards also assist the culinary staff with prep work and plating on occasion.
A Candidate for this position must be able to:
- Lift/carry and push/pull up to 40 pounds
- Be on his/her feet for up to 8 hours each day
- Bend, walk, reach, and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties

Front Desk Associate
The Front Desk Associate will attend to guest needs whether on the phone or in person while greeting and welcoming guests as they pass through the lobby.

- Will respond to guest’s inquiries, concerns or complaints in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Building maintenance in units and common areas of the resort
- Responsible for swimming pool and Spa maintenance
- Responsible for swimming pool and Spa chemical testing and monitoring per state mandated guidelines
- Perform PM maintenance on equipment as needed
- Perform daily water system testing and monitoring
- Assist grounds crew when needed
- Perform carpet cleaning and carpet equipment maintenance
- Perform Fire system inspection and testing as needed
- HVAC system maintenance and monitoring using Honeywell programing
- Perform minor plumbing and electrical as needed adhering to regulations and guidelines
- Document work completion and parts used in work management system
- Using the computer system to verify room occupancy prior to performing maintenance work
- Report the need for spare parts or attic stock inventory
- All other duties as assigned by department Director and/or Executive Team members
Qualifications

- Clean public area restrooms, sitting areas, guest laundries and hallways

- Seasonal duties including; washing exterior windows, wiping patio tables and cleaning the beach bathrooms two times a day
- Deep clean during the off season
- Answer radio calls and meet guests needs until Supervisors report for the day

Security
Security Associate
Ensure guest security by maintaining an active presence in the resort and offering outstanding customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
Secure the resort at all points of entry and ensure guest safety within the resort.
- Respond to guests or employees inquiries, concerns or complaints in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.
- Remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Complete daily security reports, copy and give to the appropriate department heads.
- Complete rounds of the resort grounds on a regular basis throughout the scheduled shift.
- Complete lock up of resort property on a nightly basis.
- Assist other departments when needed.
- This will mainly be front desk staff and maintenance.
- It could also include housekeeping, catering, and Food & Beverage.
- Have a complete understanding of the Emergency Procedures.
- Have a complete understanding of the Security Officers Handbook
- Be willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
- Be willing to obtain certification in basic first aid and CPR.
- Respond to all 911, fire and smoke alarms.
- Respond to all emergencies within the resort.
- Respond to guest complaints regarding noise, etc.
